Job description

As a Marketing Associate, a typical day might include the following:


  • Collaborating with the senior team to develop, implement and manage Big Night's multi-platform social media strategy to increase brand awareness and customer engagement, as well as improving overall marketing efforts
  • Assisting with the creation, planning and activation of social media campaigns, including development of content calendars
  • Increasing special event and nightlife ticket sales through the creation and implementation of marketing and sales strategies
  • Managing the posting and optimization across multiple social media channels including scheduling, actively posting on nights and weekends, capturing content in real time
  • Assisting with community management - monitoring and responding to DMs, messages, comments, reviews and driving user engagement across all brands social platforms and review sites
  • Assisting with the production of content, including scheduling and coordinating photoshoots
  • Creating innovative social media strategies to support human resources, public relations, and events
  • Managing and organizing a large library of assets and content
  • Pulling content for team members on request
  • Generating monthly analytics reports and interpreting results to better future content and posting strategies
  • Effectively planning and organizing priorities – working with multiple venues efficiently, effectively, and productively
  • Understanding the latest social media trends and advancements and conducting market research
  • Participating in team brainstorming sessions and marketing activations
  • Other duties as assigned

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:


  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in digital marketing and/or social media-focused role required
  • Experience in hospitality industry a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital, communications, or related field preferred
  • Must have an excellent ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and accounts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required, emphasis on proofreading
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Experience with web and social publishing platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Google, Yelp
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Facebook & Instagram ads
  • Preferred knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and or/other creative suites
  • Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
