Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, evaluates and improves processing methods and equipment.
Ensures that testing on components and equipment is being done periodically to optimize operational performance andmeet design specifications.
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
Inspects construction and installation progress.
Initiate planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.
Responsible for preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC, office equipment, etc.
Oversee cleaning and maintenance of facility.
Work with mechanical maintenance department and plant equipment.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
Successful Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in theautomotive industry).
Proficient with computer applications including MS Office applications.
Utilize hand-held tools/machinery/instruments, both manual and powered along with precision and non-precision.
Must have experience with overseeing and working with a plant maintenance department.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, painting, greasing, oiling, grinding, drilling, disassemble andreassemble simple machine parts.
Follow maintenance procedures and maintain proper documentation, drawings and files.
Knowledgeable in hydraulic, and pneumatic controls, materials and components.
Operate, set, and regulate/adjust machinery, trouble shoot machine controls, disassemble and assemble machine parts.
Install conduit, pipe, regulators, and hoses.
Possess a strong background in trouble-shooting press hydraulic systems, PLC, electrical and computer controls, relayladder logic, and electronic control issues.
Work in a manufacturing environment that is loud, noisy and dusty in production areas. Be the leader to maintain and keep the plant as clean as possible.
Be able to lift 50 pounds or occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and/or alternate shifts as required.
Possible travel from time to time including overnight, only as required
