Simkins Hallin is a well-established locally owned business serving Montana for over 75 years. We are looking to add a team member to our office staff for a Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm accounting position with opportunity for periodic overtime.
The applicant must be experienced in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and be dedicated to providing a high level of customer service. Payroll and/or other accounting experience could create additional opportunities within the position. The customer service aspect requires excellent communication for fielding calls, emails, and handling the customer service windows which includes a small amount of cashiering. This position also includes some collections, periodic nightly reconciliation/closing, and management of some legal documents.
We are looking for a friendly, engaging, detail oriented person who enjoys a fast paced environment. Base salary will be $55,000 per year but will increase DOE and office fit.
